If you are on vacation, after having learned the inner workings of a travel router, you may want to find an IP address with your iPhone or iPad. Once you are in the network settings, click on “Advanced” and then “TCP/IP.” You should see the router’s IP address next to “Router.” Find on iOS Devices Find your network and then click “Advanced” which should be found on the bottom right of the window. You should see a list on the left side of the window. Start by clicking the Apple icon at the top left of the screen. Find the “Default Gateway” section and look for a listed number. Next, select “Command Prompt” and then type “IPCONFIG”, pressing enter after you are done. An IP address tells you the city, ZIP code, or area code of your ISP, as well as your ISP’s name.
